StyTrix is committed to making stytrix.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who browse with a keyboard only, with a screen reader, with speech input, or at high magnification. This statement describes how far we have got, what we know is still wrong, and how to tell us when we have missed something.
Conformance status
We measure StyTrix against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is the technical standard EN 301 549 points to, which is the standard named by the European Accessibility Act.
StyTrix is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. "Partially conformant" means most of the product meets the standard, but some parts do not yet. The parts we know about are listed below.
What we have done
- Every icon-only control in the design canvas, sidebar and dashboard now announces what it does, instead of being read as "button".
- Interface text colours were darkened so body text reaches the 4.5:1 contrast ratio the standard requires, apart from the brand orange described below.
- Marketing pages, the blog, the documentation, sign-in and sign-up now have a main landmark, so the "skip to main content" link works and screen-reader users can jump straight to the content.
- The canvas no longer blocks browser zoom, so the toolbars and panels can be magnified.
- Every page is scanned automatically with axe-core before release, and a new critical or serious failure fails the check.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following and are working on them. If one of these blocks you, contact us and we will help you directly while we fix it.
- Brand colour contrast: our brand orange is used for primary buttons and for links and headings on pale backgrounds. White text on an orange button measures 3.39:1 and orange text on our cream backgrounds between 2.81:1 and 3.27:1, where the standard asks for 4.5:1. A darker orange was trialled and the company chose to keep the brand colour, so this is a deliberate exception rather than an oversight. Nothing depends on colour alone: every such control also has a label, an underline or a border, and the rest of the page meets the ratio. If this makes something hard to read, contact us and we will send it to you another way.
- Secondary grey text sits at 4.39:1 against the warm page background, just under the 4.5:1 the standard asks for.
- Design canvas, drag and drop: elements on the canvas are moved by pointer or by keyboard through the drag handle, but the canvas itself is a visual, spatial tool. Some arrangement tasks are difficult without sight. Every generation feature is also available through the AI chat panel, which is a text interface.
- Design canvas, target size: elements you have placed on the canvas can be smaller than the 24 by 24 pixel minimum when the canvas is zoomed out. Zooming the canvas in enlarges them.
- Design canvas, nested controls: a canvas element is itself draggable and also contains its own buttons, which some screen readers announce awkwardly.
- Generated images: alternative text for AI-generated images is derived from the prompt and is not always an accurate description of the result.
- Video and audio: we do not currently publish video tutorials with captions. Written equivalents exist in the documentation.
- Third-party components: sign-in and payment screens are rendered by Clerk and Stripe. We track their accessibility but do not control their code.

Technical specifications
Accessibility of StyTrix relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS and JavaScript. The product is tested against current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS and NVDA on Windows.
How we assessed this
A self-assessment was carried out in September 2026 by the StyTrix engineering team. It combined an automated axe-core scan of the public and signed-in pages with a manual keyboard and screen-reader walkthrough of the design canvas, the AI chat panel, the plans dialog, the cancellation flow and sign-in.
Automated testing cannot find every problem, so the manual walkthrough carries as much weight as the scan. No independent external audit has been commissioned yet.
The findings, and the evidence behind them, are recorded in our governance platform against a WCAG 2.2 AA / EN 301 549 framework, and are re-checked whenever the product changes materially.
